The 'Gibitre Company Connection' program allows you to automatically update the lists of Customers, Products and production Orders in Gibitre SQL Databaseby importing them from your company Information System
Overview
Normally, every company has a production control software where information about incoming materials, products, customers, and production orders are stored.
Normally the main control activity refers to incoming products or production control.
To have traceability of control activity the test results must be identified according to your identification system inserting information such as Product Code, Order, Lot Number, Customer Code (or Provider code), batch number, Operator, Date and time.
What does Gibitre Company Connection Program do?
The Network Version of Gibitre software permits the lists of Customers, Products and Production Orders to be updated automatically using the Gibitre Company Connection Program.
In this way:
- you don't waste time updating the database manually
- you eliminate the risk of incorrect typing
- you can use the Barr Code system to enter data identification at the beginning of a test.
What is the "One Selection Test Identification" ?
The Network version of Gibitre Programs makes it possible to manage "Jobs". Each "Job Code" corresponds to the production identification code that you use in your company (normally this code is called "Order Number", Production Number" "Lot" or something similar).
The Job Code allows identification with a single code all the information regarding the product (Customer order, Customer Code, Product code, Production lot, production batch, etc).
The Gibitre Company Connection Program permits to update the list of product, customers and Job Codes.
In this way, when you make a test, you simply need to select the right Job Code in the list. Gibitre Programs automatically insert all other identification information for the test (Order number, Lot number, Batch Number, Product Code, Customer Code).
