The machine allows defined-thickness samples to be obtained directly from finished rubber or thermoplastic products (30-75 Shore A).
Thickness is adjustable between 0.5 and 8 mm and can be set from the panel with digital indication at 0.01 mm resolution: a real advantage for preparing homogeneous and repeatable samples, in line with the preparation procedures required by ISO 23529, ASTM D1056 and ASTM D3183.
The steel feed rollers, motorized and with selectable speed (0.9 - 1.8 - 2.8 m/min), ensure constant sliding of the part, while the belt blade, lubricated on both surfaces and equipped with automatic sharpening with micrometric adjustment, guarantees clean horizontal cuts.
Micrometric adjustment of the blade position and an optical unit to control bevel symmetry help maintain quality over time. Description
The machine permits to produce samples with customer defined thickness starting from finished products. The part to be cut is inserted between the motor-driven feed steel rollers and a blade, which position can be regulated with 0,01 mm accuracy, splits the part horizontally.
The high quality mechanical construction of the machine, the sharpening device with micrometric drive, the adjustable feed speed and the integrated lubrication system of the blade ensure excellent results while splitting rubber or thermoplastic products with hardness between 30 and 75 Shore A.
