The use of automatic rotating warehouses makes it possible to store all the components of internal production and purchase efficiently.
The efficiency in the storage of components is the key to the perfect control of the availability of components for assembly and for the rapid supply of spare parts and has allowed the company to halve delivery times despite the sharp increase in production.

Gibitre Instruments’ metrological laboratory is official ACCREDIA calibration laboratory for the calibration of:

MOONEY CHECK - Drive 

The MooneyCheck - Drive is a Mooney Viscometer, which permits to measure the Mooney viscosity, Pre-curing (scorch) and Stress Relaxation Characteristics of uncompounded or compounded rubbers In conformity with International Standards.

The test is carried out by measuring the torque, which has to be applied under specified temperature and pressure conditions, in order to rotate a metal disc at 2rpm speed in the cylindrical test chamber filled with rubber.
The resistance offered by the rubber to this rotation is expressed as the Mooney viscosity of the test piece.

MOONEY CHECK - Drive Variable Rotor Rotation Speed 

Optional configuration of the MooneyCheck-Drive instrument for managing the rotor speed during the test.
• The configuration allows to define the Rotation Speed as a configurable parameter of the Test Procedure.
• The speed can be set between 0.01 and 20 RPM.
• The execution of tests at different speeds allow to evaluate the behavior of your product according to the shear rate and to simulate the behavior of the product in the conditions of use.


MOONEY VISCOMETER - ACCESSORIES Certified Samples for Mooney Test 

• Advantage of Mooney viscometer in comparison with other Rheology instruments is that the test results are identical for correctly produced and calibrated instruments.

• Certified butyl rubber specimens (Isobutylene - Isoprene) for the verification of Mooney Viscosity permit to test the conformity of the results obtained.

• The specimens are obtained, without rework, from a bale coded as IRM (Industry Reference Material) prepared by the working group ASTM D11.20 (task Group subcommittee on Compounding Materials and Procedures) in accordance with ASTM D4678.

AUTOMATIC HARDNESS UNITS Automatic Sample displacement 
• The motorized ascent and descent movement of the specimen allows the test to be carried out automatically.

• The automatic rotation of the measurement plate makes it possible to carry out tests automatically at different points on the sample.

• The operator can set the number of tests to be performed automatically on the specimen and the angle of rotation between successive tests.




MICRO-IRHD LASER REVOLUTION 

The instruments is equipped with laser centring device and motor-controlled sample holding disk for the displacement of the parts to be measured.

The sample holding disk moves each test piece under the laser centring tool and then places the optimal test point of the part under the micro-irhd testing unit.

The positioning and hardness measuring operations are performed automatically for all the parts placed on the sample holding disk across the laser reading line without intervention of the operator.

MICRO-IRHD LASER REVOLUTION Applications of the instrument 

The instrument permits to perform the serial measure of micro-irhd hardness of O-rings and small parts eliminating the human influence in the sample positioning.
The instrument is useful for:
• Product approval or Quality Control tests which require the repeating of the tests on statistical basis
• Mold approval tests
• Process capability analysis
• Testing of small parts difficult to be centered manually
O-rings or small parts with a thickness between 1 and 20 mm can be tested.
The laser testing process can be stopped to perform tests with standard samples.


MICRO-IRHD HARDNESS TESTERS Indentor with Ruby Sphere 
Gibitre is the only world manufacturer of Micro-irhd hardness testers that uses a Ruby ball indentor for Micro-irhd hardness testers.

DENSITY TESTER Test Cycle 

Running a test is quick and easy:
• Enter the list of tests to be carried out (eventually with barcode reader)
• Apply the specimen to the sample holder
• Attach the sample holder to the magnetic clamp
Done !
The instrument:
• Waits for the specimen to be applied
• Measures the weight of the sample
• Raises the glass containing the comparison liquid
• Measures the temperature of the comparison liquid and corrects its density accordingly
• Measures the volume of the sample
• Calculates density
• Lowers the glass
• Compares the result with the tolerance limits
• Saves the result in the SQL database
... and is ready for the next test
All in about 10 seconds.


DENSITY TESTER Reading of the temperature of test liquid 

The calibrated temperature probe inside the beaker measures the temperature of the reference liquids.
The software corrects the density of the test liquids based on the temperature and uses the correct value for the measurements.
Each result is saved together with the temperature measurement and the real density of the comparison liquid.
Seasonal variations in density measurement with changing laboratory temperature are just a memory!

DE MATTIA FATIGUE TESTER - PLUS Temperature Control 

The sample holding system is located in a Environmental chamber which permits to set the temperature between -40°C and 200 °C.

The cooling is performed using an integrated Cooling Unit, which ensures stable and long time temperature stability.

The environmental chamber is fitted with inspection window and internal led lighting which permit to inspect the sample without opening the chamber.

LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK 

Tests at low temperatures permit to evaluate the crystallization effects and to compare viscoelastic properties of rubber and rubber-like materials at low temperatures. Temperature Retraction and Brittleness Point tests are useful for the selection of materials suitable for low-temperature service.

LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK Instrument characteristics 

The structure of the Low Temperature Check has been designed to permit the installation of arrangements for TR and Brittleness point tests.
The structure includes all common parts required for low temperature testing:
• 5 litres thermal insulated stainless steel bath for cooling liquid.
• Heat exchangers for bath cooling - thermal resistance for bath heating
• PT 100 thermal sensor and PID thermoregulator with 0.1°C accuracy for the automatic regulation of both cooling and heating
• Stirrer for bath homogenization
• Safety devices: independent bath overheating controller, thermal switch, pneumatic lock for sample holders.

LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK Temperature Retraction (TR) Test: Instrument Setup 

The arrangement for TR test includes:
• Sample holder for the simultaneous test of 6 samples
• Pneumatic lifting system for the easy handling of the sample holder
• Windows bases software for TR test performance
The Sample Holder makes it possible to:
• Carry out simultaneous testing on 6 samples.
• Read automatically the retraction of each sample with 0.06 mm resolution
• Lock sample position in extended position during test preparation
• Automatically release of test samples at the end of the conditioning time.


LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK Brittleness point test: Instrument setup 

The arrangement for Brittleness Point test includes:
• Pneumatically actuated striker
• Sample holder for the simultaneous test of 10 samples
• Windows bases software for Brittleness Point test performance
• Datagest software for database management.

The striker is in compliance with international standards and the clearance can be set according to the kind of test (4.8, 5.2, 5.7, 6.4 mm). A pneumatic piston drives the striker and permits to perform the tests while the samples are immersed in the cooling liquid. A pressure regulator enables the speed of the striker to be adjusted in compliance with standards depending from the number of samples and the density of the cooling liquid in use.
The software permits to prepare and store test procedures with custom test conditions.

OZONE CHECK - PC  

The instrument Ozone Check - UV is a complete ozone cabinet conforming to International Standards for the measurement of the resistance to cracking under static or dynamic tensile strain of rubber samples or technical articles. The instrument permits to set the test conditions in order to comply with international standard methods.

The Instruments permits the regulation of:
• Ozone Concentration, between 0 and 500 pphm (UV absorption detector);
• Test temperature, between ambient +5°C and +70°C;
• Air Flow in the Test Chamber, between 1 and 3 air changes/minute;
• Relative Humidity, between 40 and 90% (optional).

GIBITRE SOFTWARE PRODUCTS Standard SQL Database 

All the Gibitre programs use a database with SQL structure for saving the results.
The database can be installed inside an SQL instance present on the company server or it can be installed on a PC connected to a measuring instrument. The installation of the Microsoft SQL service (Express version) is included in the delivery.


DATAGEST LIMS SYSTEM 

Datagest is the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) which is always installed in combination with all Gibitre instrument-control programs.
The program is the collector for all the test result produced with the instruments connected and permits to manage the common Archives used by the instruments (Product List, Customer List, Tolerance limits, Order List, etc)

The program allows you to:
• View, Filter, Print, Compare, Export the Results of tests carried out with all connected Gibitre instruments.

MOONEY CHECK - Drive 

The MooneyCheck - Drive is a Mooney Viscometer, which permits to measure the Mooney viscosity, Pre-curing (scorch) and Stress Relaxation Characteristics of uncompounded or compounded rubbers In conformity with International Standards.

The test is carried out by measuring the torque, which has to be applied under specified temperature and pressure conditions, in order to rotate a metal disc at 2rpm speed in the cylindrical test chamber filled with rubber.
The resistance offered by the rubber to this rotation is expressed as the Mooney viscosity of the test piece.

AUTOMATIC HARDNESS UNITS Automatic Sample displacement 
• The motorized ascent and descent movement of the specimen allows the test to be carried out automatically.

• The automatic rotation of the measurement plate makes it possible to carry out tests automatically at different points on the sample.

• The operator can set the number of tests to be performed automatically on the specimen and the angle of rotation between successive tests.

MICRO-IRHD LASER REVOLUTION 

The instruments is equipped with laser centring device and motor-controlled sample holding disk for the displacement of the parts to be measured.

The sample holding disk moves each test piece under the laser centring tool and then places the optimal test point of the part under the micro-irhd testing unit.

The positioning and hardness measuring operations are performed automatically for all the parts placed on the sample holding disk across the laser reading line without intervention of the operator.

MICRO-IRHD LASER REVOLUTION Applications of the instrument 

The instrument permits to perform the serial measure of micro-irhd hardness of O-rings and small parts eliminating the human influence in the sample positioning.
The instrument is useful for:
• Product approval or Quality Control tests which require the repeating of the tests on statistical basis
• Mold approval tests
• Process capability analysis
• Testing of small parts difficult to be centered manually
O-rings or small parts with a thickness between 1 and 20 mm can be tested.

Running a test is quick and easy:
• Enter the list of tests to be carried out (eventually with barcode reader)
• Apply the specimen to the sample holder
• Attach the sample holder to the magnetic clamp

• Waits for the specimen to be applied
• Measures the weight of the sample
• Raises the glass containing the comparison liquid
• Measures the temperature of the comparison liquid and corrects its density accordingly

• Calculates density

DENSITY TESTER Reading of the temperature of test liquid 

The calibrated temperature probe inside the beaker measures the temperature of the reference liquids.
The software corrects the density of the test liquids based on the temperature and uses the correct value for the measurements.
Each result is saved together with the temperature measurement and the real density of the comparison liquid.
Seasonal variations in density measurement with changing laboratory temperature are just a memory!

The sample holding system is located in a Environmental chamber which permits to set the temperature between -40°C and 200 °C.

LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK Instrument characteristics 

The structure of the Low Temperature Check has been designed to permit the installation of arrangements for TR and Brittleness point tests.
The structure includes all common parts required for low temperature testing:
• 5 litres thermal insulated stainless steel bath for cooling liquid.
• Heat exchangers for bath cooling - thermal resistance for bath heating
• PT 100 thermal sensor and PID thermoregulator with 0.1°C accuracy for the automatic regulation of both cooling and heating

LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK Temperature Retraction (TR) Test: Instrument Setup 

The arrangement for TR test includes:
• Sample holder for the simultaneous test of 6 samples
• Pneumatic lifting system for the easy handling of the sample holder
• Windows bases software for TR test performance
The Sample Holder makes it possible to:
• Carry out simultaneous testing on 6 samples.
• Read automatically the retraction of each sample with 0.06 mm resolution
• Lock sample position in extended position during test preparation
• Automatically release of test samples at the end of the conditioning time.
LOW TEMPERATURE CHECK Brittleness point test: Instrument setup 

The arrangement for Brittleness Point test includes:
• Pneumatically actuated striker
• Sample holder for the simultaneous test of 10 samples
• Windows bases software for Brittleness Point test performance
• Datagest software for database management.

The striker is in compliance with international standards and the clearance can be set according to the kind of test (4.8, 5.2, 5.7, 6.4 mm). A pneumatic piston drives the striker and permits to perform the tests while the samples are immersed in the cooling liquid. A pressure regulator enables the speed of the striker to be adjusted in compliance with standards depending from the number of samples and the density of the cooling liquid in use.
The software permits to prepare and store test procedures with custom test conditions.

The instrument Ozone Check - UV is a complete ozone cabinet conforming to International Standards for the measurement of the resistance to cracking under static or dynamic tensile strain of rubber samples or technical articles.
