ISO 15113 Rubber -- Determination of frictional properties
ISO 15113 establishes a method for assessing the resistance of elastomeric materials to heat and oxidative degradation through accelerated aging testing. The standard applies to natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and various elastomers, subjecting them to controlled temperature and oxygen exposure conditions. The evaluation monitors changes in mechanical properties—including hardness, tensile strength, and elongation—before and after aging cycles, generating critical data on material durability and performance stability under service conditions.
