ICEA T-27-581 STANDARD TEST METHODS FOR EXTRUDED DIELECTRIC POWER, CONTROL, INSTRUMENTATION, AND PORTABLE CABLES FOR TEST
This standard establishes test procedures for evaluating the tensile strength and elongation at break of elastomeric materials and rubber compounds through controlled tensile testing on standardized specimens. Applicable to vulcanized elastomers, natural and synthetic rubbers, and finished rubber products, the standard measures fundamental mechanical properties by progressively loading samples until failure.
