Gibitre Instruments provides a free Remote Assiatance Service Purpose of the service The Remote Control Service is usefull for the quick identification of the origin of problems detected by the users or for helping in the installation of new products or softwares. In addition the service can be used for remote training or simply to explain the use of specific software functions. When can it be used ? The service can be usefull to solve problems detected on any pc controlled instrument produced by Gibitre instruments. The pc must have an internet connection and the operating system must be superior to windows 98. | How to start the service ? You can download the remote control software from our download area. To start the connection you need to call Gibitre Technical service to squedule the activity and to get instructions for the connection. Are there potential risks using the service ? There are absolutely no risks related to the use of the Gibitre Remote control package: - The program permits the connection only if directly required by the customer. - The program, based on VNC technology does not contain viruses or spywhere and does not install in the pc any device that permits to start a connection if not directly required by the user. - All operations done on your pc are visible Usage Conditions The use of the software as a problem-solving tool is free of cost for the customer because it has been developed as a tool to improve the speed of the communication between Gibitre and its customers. In case the Remote Control Software is used for the remote installation of new instruments or for remote training purposes, the cost for the service must be previously defined with Gibitre Sales Service. | |
