General
The software for data management is always provided together with any Gibitre Software and permits the management of test Results, Statistics, Tolerance Limits, Customers, Products, aging Treatments, Test Procedures, Passwords, etc.

Standard or Network version
The Datagest program permits the management of the data stored in the database.
All Gibitre Programs are available in Standard Version (the database is located on the local pc) or in Network Version (the SQL server database is located on a server).
Some functions are available only for the network version:
- Multi-instrument test reports
- Automatic connection to the company database to update Product list, Customer list and Production Orders list
- Barr code test identification

Management of test Results
All the programs controlling Gibitre instruments automatically store Test Results and Curves in the Database.
The Datagest program enables you to:
- select, order, erase the desired test results using the Filter page
- display each test result and curves
- display the curves of the selected tests in the same graph with different colours
- calculate statistics (max, min, Average, Standard Deviation, Cp, Cpk) for the selected results
- display the X-chart and the Histogram for the selected tests
- prepare customer-defined test reports including graphs, tolerance limits, statistics, detailed test results, test conditions, notes.

Management of test procedures
The datagest program permits to generate or edit test procedures for each of the Gibitre instruments connected.
A test procedure contains all necessary information to carry out a test using one of Gibitre instruments' control software:
- test Conditions (like test time, test speed, test cycle, kind of sample to use, etc)
- Results to be calculated during the test and relative calculation parameters, format and unit of measurement.

Management of tolerance limits
Tolerance limits can be set for each test procedure, each product and each customer.
Tolerance limits can be entered manually or generated automatically using:
- a percentage of the average of the selected stored results
- the standard deviation of the selected stored results.
The automatic tolerance calculation procedure automatically calculates and stores the expected test curve.
Once the tolerance limits have been defined for a product, they will be automatically shown (both numerically and graphically) when a test is made using Gibitre instrument control programs.
At the end of each test, the results will be identified with green or red colour if in or out of limits.
