Grip stresses in the specimen are distributed in the material in contact with the bollard circumference. The lower grip permits to set the distance between the contact points. Maximum sample width 180 mm. 8-DM8-0N-000-0 - ROTATING GRIPS FOR TEST OF ISO 37-A RING Couple of rotating grips for the tensile testing of ISO 37-Type A Rings. A chain driven system permits to rotate the upper grip during the test according to the requirements of the standard. Application: the grips permit can be used for the performance of tensile tests on rings according to ISO-37 type A or for the tensile testing of O-Rings according to ASTM D 1414. The grips are ideal for the execution of tensile tests with thermal chamber because the measure of elongation does not require extensometers. The grip permits to fix the metal plate. A ball joint ensures the perpendicularity between the metal plate and the free end of the rubber strip during the test. Note: a standard grip is required for clamping the free end of the rubber strip. 8-DM2-00-000-0 - ROLLING GRIP FOR PEELING TEST Rolling support for peeling test on rigid materials. The rigid specimen moves under the rollers and the layer to be separated is passed between the rollers and pulled by the top clamp. Maximum specimen width: 90 mm Maximum specimen thickness: 40 mm Application: The terminal is ideal for peeling testing on multi-layer materials and rigid samples. 8-DM4-00-000-0 - 90° PEEL STRENGHT FIXTURE Self-adjusting sliding bed for 90° peel tests. The test plate moves horizontally during the test in order to maintain a 90° peel angle. The standard test plate supplied is made of stainless steel. Plates made of other materials can be alternatively used. 8-DM9-00-000-0 - SPIRAL SHAPE GRIPS FOR WIRE TEST Couple of Involute-shaped grips for tests on wires. The sample is wrapped around the bollard and the free end is clamped firmly using a screw operated vice. The grips are ideal for the tensile testing of wires, small pipes or cable sheath. 8-D13-00-000-0 - GRIPS FOR TRACTION RELAXATION Grips for Traction relaxation test according to EN 681-1 standard. The grip makes it possible to elongate the sample using the tensile tester, lock the sample in the extended position and test the relaxation of the force which has occurred after aging using the tensile tester. The sample holder can be removed from the tensile tester and can be placed in an oven up to 70°C. 8-D14-00-000-0 - GRIP COMPRESS.RELAXATION TEST ISO 3384-B Grips for Compression relaxation test in compliance with ISO 3384 method B. The grip makes it possible to: - apply to the sample the required deformation using the tensile tester, - lock the sample in the deformated position, - place the sample holder in a stove for aging - test the relaxation of the force which has occurred using the tensile tester |
