Description
Compression Set device made of steinless steel with adjustable distance of the plates between 0 and 20 mm.
The instrument permits to regulate the distance of the plates using a thickness meter (not included) and to lock the plates at the set distance using a bouble-screw system.
No further regulation is required in case of repeated tests with samples with the same thickness.
The instrument permits to perform Compression Set tests both with standard samples and with finished articles.
The possibility to regulate the distance of the plates permits to set the deformation of the sample (typically 25%) according to the initial thickness of the samples.

The mechanical construction of the device ensures that planarity error is below 0.01 mm. For this reason the instrument can be successfully used even for testing O-Rings or very small samples in compliacne with standard requirements.
The use of steinless steel prevents oxidation of the device.
