Gibitre was founded in 1979 and as a company dealing with a wide range of activities in the rubber industry including rubber compounding, rubber moulding and rubber control instruments production.
Gibitre Instruments was created as a separate company in 2001.
Aim
The aim of Gibitre Instruments S.r.l. is the development, production and marketing on world scale of a wide range of instruments for laboratory rubber testing.
The range of the produced instruments is the most various in those produced by the world competitors and this, together with the continuous use of the instruments by the other production unities of the group, is a guarantee for a continuous improvement of the company Know-how for the problems of the rubber control.

Gibitre Instruments continuously develops new instruments in conformity with international standards and updates existing products to meet the new needs of the customers
Mechanical design of the products is made using 3D CAD system
Mechanical production of parts is made partially inside the company (prototyping – special parts) and partially by specialized companies
Software Development is made inside the company in cooperation with a software house specialized in software development software
Electronic cards are developed and produced in cooperation with external companies specialized in sensors management.

Distributors are chosen considering their technical knowledge of the rubber and plastic technology and market.
Continuous training is provided to the distributors to improve their capability to answer to customers requests.

Gibitre Instruments has developed a Technical Assistance Service that provides:
Periodic calibration made using calibration instruments with traceability to primary standards which are certified by an accredited centre and issuing of relevant certificates
Repairing of anomalies on installed instruments
Statistical analysis of the found anomalies to take the opportune corrective actions In some countries the assistance service is done directly from the main office whereas in the others it is delegated through technical training of local personnel.
Specific training programs are prepared both for internal technician and for technicians of agencies providing maintenance and calibration service.
All Gibitre customers can contact directly the free technical phone and e-mail service.
Delivery of spare parts in case of failure is normally made within 24 hours from problem detection.
The efficiency of this service is continuously improved according to the statistical analysis of anomalies. Accredited SIT calibration service
GibItre Instruments' metrological laboratory was appointed as an accredited SIT calibration centre in March 2005.
Calibration is carried out on the basis of SIT Accreditation No. 182.
The quality system of the SIT laboratory is in compliance with UNI EN ISO/IEC 17025 Standard.
The measures Gibitre Instruments is accredited for are IRHD (Micro and Normal) according to ISO 48 and Shore A and D according to ISO 868. |
